Modelling

A mould of plaster cast is made on the body of the model. The process takes about half an hour.

Most sculptures are made for people who want their own. But some are for sale. And of course you can bring your model or come up with other suggestions. Almost anything is possible using this technique.

Seeing Sculptures

  Have you done any full body works (that is the complete figure of the model, head to toe) to create a complete statue replica of the model? ala George Segal, or Duane Hanson? That's one of the things which is so eerie, yet so intriguing about lifecasting...the person is literally duplicated!
  I have promised myself that one day (some day!) I would learn the art of lifecasting, in the meantime I'll content myself with your page!
